Effective January 1, 2026, Pacific Power is making changes to the Wattsmart® Business program in Washington for select lighting, motors and other measures.
Lighting retrofits
Incentives for interior lighting controls are increasing for small businesses, very small businesses and small businesses located in Named Communities. Here’s the breakdown:
Small business:
- The incentive for Advanced Networked Lighting Controls is increasing from $0.46/kWh to $0.48/kWh.
Select very small businesses and Named Community small businesses
- The incentives for PIR, dual tech, integral sensor or basic controls are increasing from $0.38/kWh to $0.40/kWh.
- The Advanced Networked Lighting Controls incentive is increasing from $0.46/kWh to $0.50/kWh.
The limited-time bonus offered in 2025 concluded and has been removed from the category.
Non-lighting measures
Engine block heater controllers now cover an increased number of vehicle types. The EBHC custom pathway now supports multiple vehicle types, excluding delivery vehicles, mass transit buses, and school buses. Supported vehicle categories include a broad range of commercial, emergency, industrial and specialty fleet vehicles.
The limited-time bonus offered in 2025 concluded and has been removed from the following categories:
- Motors incentives
- HVAC equipment incentives
- HVAC check-up incentives
Potato or onion storage fan VFD now has a lower incentive of $82/HP.
